Professional Use

Our service is designed for qualified HVAC professionals, including:

• Licensed HVAC contractors and technicians
• HVAC engineers and designers
• Building professionals requiring load calculations
• Permit offices and building departments

2. Account Registration & Access

Account Requirements

• You must provide accurate and complete registration information
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account
• Each account is for individual use - sharing accounts is prohibited

Account Security

• Use strong passwords and enable two-factor authentication when available
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized account access
• You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account
• We may suspend accounts that show signs of unauthorized access

3. Acceptable Use

4. Billing & Payments

Subscription Plans

• Free tier includes limited calculations for evaluation purposes
• Paid subscriptions provide unlimited calculations and premium features
• Billing occurs monthly or annually based on your selected plan
• All fees are non-refundable except as required by applicable law

Payment Processing

• Payments are processed securely through Stripe
• You authorize us to charge your payment method for subscription fees
• Failed payments may result in service suspension
• Price changes will be communicated with 30 days advance notice

7. Limitation of Liability

• Equipment selection and installation decisions remain your professional judgment

8. Account Termination

Termination by You

• You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings
• Service continues until the end of your current billing period
• You can export your data before account closure
• No refunds are provided for partial billing periods

Termination by AutoHVAC

We may suspend or terminate accounts for:

• Violation of these terms of service
• Non-payment of subscription fees
• Fraudulent or abusive behavior
• Legal or regulatory requirements

9. Changes to Service & Terms

Service Updates

• We continuously improve our platform with new features and enhancements
• Material changes to core functionality will be communicated in advance
• We may discontinue features with reasonable notice
• API changes will include appropriate deprecation periods

Terms Updates

• We may update these terms to reflect service changes or legal requirements
• Material changes will be communicated 30 days in advance
• Continued use constitutes acceptance of updated terms
• You may terminate your account if you disagree with changes

10. Legal & Compliance
